We are a professional services firm that is passionate about applying our considerable expertise towards meeting your human capital needs. Our Managing Partner and each member of our team has a minimum of 20+ years experience in industry and professional services. Representative experience includes technology, engineering, manufacturing, telecom, sales and marketing, and organizational consulting. Our depth of knowledge and length of business tenure gives our clients the assurance that their business issues are being addressed by an experienced team who not only possess the business knowledge necessary to understand our client's problems, but also possess the seniority and real-world experience to solve them.

Edison Consulting Group also works with a select group of partner companies to offer its clients a broader range of services and geographic reach than it would otherwise. We add these resources as needed depending the individual needs of a project.

Our Leadership

Jonathan Robbins, Managing Partner

Jon has been practicing in the fields of talent management and organizational consulting since 1994. His areas of expertise include retained executive search, talent market analysis and feasibility studies, succession planning, talent pipeline development, compensation planning and analysis, corporate culture, leadership development and executive coaching.

Jon's work includes projects in medium and large public and private companies as well as venture funded early and middle stage companies. He has generally worked with global companies that design and manufacture highly engineered products. His successes in executive search have included assignments both domestically and internationally for CEOs, CFOs, General Managers, Vice Presidents and Board of Director Members. At the functional level Jon has completed a significant amount of work within Global Operations, Supply Chain Management, Process Engineering, Program Management, Research & Development, and Sales and Marketing. Recent clients have included: ANADIGICS, Applied Materials, Coltene Whaledent, Cooper Industries, Cree, Laird Technologies, Rubicon Technologies, SanDisk, Solar Trust of America, and Teledyne Technologies.

Prior to being a co-founder of Edison Consulting Group in 2002, Jon was a Vice President at a top 10 global retained executive search firm. Prior to his career in talent management, Jon enjoyed a successful 15-year career with General Electric, Union Carbide, and ABB Automation. During his collective tenure at these companies he led product development teams in the design of high intensity halogen based lamps primarily for us in stage and studio applications, designed and managed a start-up semiconductor operation, and managed the design, installation, and start-up of large scale distributed process control (DCS) systems across a range of industries. Jon's combination of a strong technical background combined with significant real world business experience has been a tremendous asset to clients within the technical industries.

Jon holds an MBA in Finance and Marketing as well as a BS in Chemical and Environmental Engineering, both from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.
